Community Grants

ECF's Community Grants program offers funding tailored to organizations' unique needs—whether for renovations, equipment, program support, or other priorities identified by the applicant. The program aims to support the local community through a two-stage application process. Organizations that have not received a Community Grant in the last five years are eligible to apply for up to $50,000, while those who have received a community grant in the last five years are eligible for up to $80,000. The program uses volunteer sub-committees consisting of community leaders and sector experts to assess Stage 2 applications. Grants are distributed twice yearly through Spring and Fall granting cycles, with comprehensive reporting requirements to ensure accountability and help refine the granting process.
