About This Opportunity

CONACyT is a scholarship program offered by the Government of Mexico for Mexican students to pursue postgraduate study at approved international institutions. Robert Gordon University is recognized by CONACyT as one of the approved institutions for receiving fully funded students for postgraduate taught and research programmes. The scholarship covers up to 300,000 MXN (Mexican pesos) in tuition costs per year for MSc and PhD programmes, plus a £770 per month stipend during the whole duration of the programme in living expenses costs and an additional one-time £150 for medical insurance (NHS surcharge). This gives students a unique opportunity to study overseas. Students are not required to pay this money back, however they are required to return to work in Mexico after their period of study.
