Conference/Seminar/Workshop Grants

The Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation offers grants to institutions for organizing conferences, workshops, or seminars on specific subjects related to Chinese Studies in the humanities and social sciences. The program aims to support academic meetings that advance understanding of Chinese culture and society. Applicants must submit comprehensive information about participants, papers, and academic significance. The Foundation encourages matching funds from other sources and gives priority to collaborative projects involving institutions in Taiwan. Projects on Taiwan Studies are especially encouraged. Awards do not exceed $25,000 per conference. The Foundation does not provide funding for annual meetings but focuses on specialized academic gatherings.
