Conn Memorial Medal in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Conn Memorial Medal in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is an annual award offered to a convocating student demonstrating outstanding merit in Obstetrics and Gynaecology during their third and fourth years of study. The award recognizes academic excellence in these medical specialties, requiring recipients to have achieved a grade point average of 3.3 or higher in relevant coursework. This endowed award was established through the generosity of Mr. Geoffrey H Wood and is administered by the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta. Students are automatically considered for this recognition based on their completed General Application, with no separate application required.
