Connecting Communities at Christmas 2025

Forever Manchester is offering 125 awards of £125 to help community groups across Greater Manchester celebrate Christmas together. Forever Manchester has always believed that connected communities make stronger, happier communities and loves any activity that brings people together. Every Christmas, the organization awards funds so that people can host events in their communities. The program enables an array of incredible ideas and events which allow people to get together, bringing the Christmas spirit to their community. Applicants must be from a community organisation based in one of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. Organisations should have their own bank account, or know a community organisation willing to accept an award on their behalf. Funds cannot be paid into personal bank accounts. If more eligible applications are received than there are awards available, final awards will be allocated via a draw and priority will firstly be given to organisations with an income of £10,000 or less. Funds can be used for various activities such as community Christmas trails, traditional Christmas parties with Santa, gatherings in parks with hot drinks and festive treats, carol singing, or online bingo and quizzes.
