About this opportunity
The Conservation Officers of Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships for Pennsylvania resident undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in a degree program studying the conservation of wildlife and related fields. This scholarship supports students pursuing degrees in biology, conservation studies, ecology, environmental studies, wildlife, or related fields. The scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who reside in Pennsylvania and hold or have held a Pennsylvania hunting license. Preference is given to students associated with Conservation Officers of Pennsylvania (COPA), the PA Game Commission, or the PA Fish and Boat Commission. The scholarship provides financial support to help students attend 2-year or 4-year colleges or universities while maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years.
