Contactless donations grants – Wales

This grant scheme enables eligible museums in Wales to apply for capital funding to purchase contactless donation points for use at their museum. Funded by the Welsh Government's Culture Division and administered by AIM (Association of Independent Museums), the grant covers the purchase of contactless donation points, upgrades to electrical and Wi-Fi infrastructure, and one year of subscription fees/licences to enable the collection and processing of contactless payments. Successful applicants will be paid in two instalments: 50% on acceptance of the grant award and the balance due on completion. Applications are reviewed and grants issued on a first come first served basis. The scheme is specifically designed to help Welsh museums modernize their donation collection capabilities and improve their fundraising infrastructure.
