Contextual Offer Scholarship

To further support students who receive a contextual offer, Southampton Solent University provides the opportunity to access a one-off contextual offer scholarship, awarded after enrolment. For the 2026/27 academic year, there are 150 scholarships available, each worth £500. These are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the order in which your contextual offer is accepted. The scholarship is provided as a £500 credit applied to the student's Solent University Everyday catering app account, which can be used to purchase food and drink across all University catering outlets. The contextual offer scholarship forms part of Southampton Solent University's Access and Participation Plan and reflects the University's commitment to widening participation and supporting students from under-represented backgrounds. This award is designed to provide additional financial support to students who receive contextual offers, recognising the barriers they may have faced in accessing higher education and supporting their successful transition and engagement with undergraduate study.
