Corder Family Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Corder Family Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 1999 and revised in 2018 by Dr. Linda (Lyn) J. Corder and Dr. Albert Somit, to honor Lyn's parents, Joseph Bond Corder and Eva Katherine Cox Corder. This scholarship supports undergraduate students majoring in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. The scholarship requires students to be enrolled full-time, complete the FAFSA, and demonstrate financial need. Special preference is given to immigrants, children of immigrants, and first-generation college students. The award amount varies based on available funds.
