About this opportunity
Established in 2014 by Arch & Geretta Partington as part of Lakeland College's Centennial Campaign, the Country Lane Angus Award is available to students enrolled full-time in the 1st or 2nd year of any program at Lakeland College. The award recognizes academic achievement and active involvement in the beef industry, with preference given to students working with Angus-influenced cattle. 4-H involvement may also be considered as part of the selection criteria. This continuing award provides financial support to students pursuing agricultural education while demonstrating commitment to the beef cattle industry.
