DAAD - Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst Original Source

About This Opportunity

The ALEARG program is a bilateral scholarship initiative co-funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Argentina and the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). It supports Argentine students, graduates, doctoral candidates, and postdocs to complete study or research stays in Germany. The program offers four distinct tracks: (1) final-year engineering students completing a one-year study visit with practical components, (2) graduates pursuing Master's or postgraduate degrees, (3) doctoral candidates conducting research stays, and (4) postdocs completing research visits. Scholarships range from 2 to 24 months depending on the track, with comprehensive support including monthly stipends, travel allowances, German language courses, health insurance, and additional allowances for research materials and family support where applicable. The program aims to strengthen academic cooperation between Argentina and Germany while supporting Argentine scholars in advancing their education and research in German institutions.
