About this opportunity
The Cowrie Foundation Scholarship is a prestigious undergraduate scholarship available to students with Home fee status planning to undertake a full-time undergraduate degree at Imperial College London. This scholarship is specifically designed to support Black African, Black Caribbean, Mixed - White and Black African, Mixed - White and Black Caribbean, or Other mixed backgrounds (to include Black African, Black Caribbean or Black Other) students from lower-income households. The scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees and provides an annual maintenance grant of £10,000. The £10,000 maintenance grant is inclusive of any additional bursaries the scholar may be eligible for, such as the Imperial Bursary. Applicants must have been assessed for financial support through Student Finance England with a verified household income of less than £35,000 per annum. One scholarship is available annually for students beginning their studies in the 2026/27 academic year. The award continues throughout the duration of the undergraduate programme, subject to the scholar maintaining satisfactory academic progress as defined by Imperial College London.
