About This Opportunity
Cronqvists stiftelse provides funding to promote medical research in the field of eye diseases. The foundation prioritizes research on retinitis pigmentosa, and secondarily other eye diseases. The grant supports projects that can be completed within one year with a budget of approximately 500,000 SEK. Eligible applicants must hold a medical degree, be members of the Swedish Society of Medicine (SLS) or a member association, and have completed their doctorate no more than 10 years ago (with allowances for parental leave). Funds can be used for materials, equipment, and personnel costs, though not for salary compensation for the principal investigator or co-applicants. Projects must be managed by the university or other authority where the applicant conducts their research, and awarded project funds include overhead costs charged by universities.
