Croucher Scholarships for Doctoral Study

The Croucher Scholarships provide financial support for promising young people in Hong Kong who are looking to pursue scientific research at a doctoral level outside Hong Kong. The program allows recipients to devote themselves to a period of full-time study or research in natural sciences, medicine or technology at approved academic institutions outside Hong Kong, leading to a PhD degree. As a Croucher Scholar, recipients receive comprehensive financial support including an annual maintenance allowance, tuition and college fees, travel support, and various additional allowances. The scholarship also includes support for family members where applicable, and opportunities to engage in science education activities in schools and the wider community.
