CSIRO Indigenous Time at Sea Scholarship

The Indigenous Time at Sea Scholarship (ITSS) offers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander university students the opportunity to join voyages of RV Investigator. This program provides hands-on research experience aboard CSIRO's marine research vessel. The scholarship is open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an Australian university who are studying in a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) discipline. Students must be over the age of 18 at the time of their voyage. This unique opportunity allows Indigenous students to gain practical experience in marine research and engage with scientific activities at sea.
