About this opportunity
A fellowship is awarded to a graduate Indigenous student enrolled in a PhD program in the Faculty of Health at the University of Victoria. Preference will be given to students who have some leadership experience. Consideration should be given to the candidate's cultural background and the impact this may have had on their academic endeavours. The recipient may receive this award for a three-year period. Approval of the recipient will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Health. The fellowship amount varies and does not require a separate application, as awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units.
