Cultural Diversity in Business Executive MBA Scholarship

The Cultural Diversity in Business Executive MBA Scholarship was established in 2019 with the goal of accelerating the rate at which people from under-represented minority groups move into senior leadership roles within all forms of Australian enterprises. This tuition fee scholarship supports a student to commence a Global Executive MBA at the University of Sydney Business School. Applicants must receive an unconditional offer of admission into the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and identify as someone from a minority group. A minority group refers to a category of people who experience relative disadvantage as compared to members of a dominant social group, including those based on ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender identity. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, leadership potential, personal integrity, performance in the selection interview, and motivation to succeed in business in a socially responsible way. Recipients must also submit a personal statement addressing how they have advanced the wellbeing and rights of people from minority groups and their vision for contributing to positive change.
