About This Opportunity

The Cumberland Educational Foundation, formerly the Cockermouth Grammar School Trust, provides grants to young people, charities and community groups in the former county of Cumberland. The fund was transferred from Cumbria County Council to the Cumbria Community Foundation in 2003 and was worth just under £500,000 at the time. The fund was invested and is now worth just under £1 million, having awarded grants of more than £280,000 since its transfer.
