About this opportunity
One scholarship, valued at $15,000, will be provided annually to a graduate student registered full-time in the Master's or Doctoral program in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Preference will be given to doctoral candidates. Selection will be based on academic excellence along with demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the materials joining and allied technologies services industry. This fund is made possible by a donation from the CWB Welding Foundation. Recipients must have a minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent over the last two full-time academic years. The award is in addition to any other funding offered, and the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering will select recipients normally each Fall.
