Cy and Joan McAndrews Bar None Leadership Award

The Cy and Joan McAndrews Bar None Leadership Award is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering or enrolled in the second or third year of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Crop Science or Animal Science. The recipient will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities. Preference will be given to a student with financial need. The award was endowed by Beverley (BEd 1976) and Frank MacInnis (BA 1968, LLB 1971) in honour of Beverley's parents, Cy (BSc Ag 1950) and Joan (BEd 1950) McAndrews. Students are eligible to receive one Bar None Award or Scholarship in any given academic year.
