Cyril G Wates Memorial Prize

The Cyril G Wates Memorial Prize is awarded annually to a student of outstanding academic merit in MATH 127, provided that the student's record is otherwise satisfactory. This endowed prize was established by the late Helen Aida Burns Wates and is administered through the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. Students are automatically considered for this prize based on their completed General Application, making it accessible to eligible students without requiring a separate application process.
