D.A. Murchison Memorial Award in Business Administration

The D.A. Murchison Memorial Award in Business Administration is awarded to a student entering their third or fourth year business who is in good academic standing and has displayed extraordinary volunteerism and leadership on campus and in the greater community. This award, one of four established through the estate of Evelyn Matheson, honours her uncle, D.A. Matheson, and is to support a scholarship in Business Administration. Evelyn Patricia 'Patty' Matheson lived a long and productive life, passing away at the age of 98. Based on her belief in the value of post-secondary education, Evelyn Matheson left a substantial bequest to the University of Prince Edward Island, including funding for four scholarships and a major residual undesignated gift.
