DAAD/NSTC- Sandwich- Scholarship Programme

The DAAD/NSTC Sandwich Scholarship Programme is designed to offer doctoral candidates from Taiwan the opportunity to become acquainted with the German research landscape while completing their doctoral degree at their home university in Taiwan. This programme supports a research period of 6-18 months at state or state-recognized universities or non-university research institutes in Germany. The scholarship provides comprehensive support including a 2-month language course, monthly scholarship payments, and travel allowances. Selection for this programme is made by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) in Taiwan. The programme is open to doctoral candidates from all disciplines who are currently enrolled in a doctoral degree programme in Taiwan.
