About This Opportunity

The DAFNI Programme is launching a new fellowship programme starting from April 2026. Each fellow will become an ambassador for DAFNI, involved in sustainable research, promotion of research, building networks across government, industry and academia, and inputting into DAFNI's Roadmap. The fellowship runs from April 2026 to June 2027 with a total fund of £100,000. Fellows will showcase their expertise by leading and contributing to white papers and reports, bring research onto the DAFNI Platform, participate in outreach and community engagement, collaborate with the DAFNI team to lead workshops tackling key UK infrastructure challenges, and take an active role in shaping the DAFNI Fellows Cohort. The programme focuses on five high-level goals: fostering collaboration across all regions of the UK, bridging the gap between government, academia, and industry, supporting DAFNI innovation in cross-disciplinary research, growing knowledge within the Centre of Excellence, and promoting sustainable research outputs. Applicants must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for UKRI funding.
