Dallas and Nina Minniear Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2013 in honor and memory of Dallas and Nina Minniear. It supports students majoring in Career and Technical Education at Eastern Illinois University. Eligible students must meet the following criteria: Eligible recipient(s) shall have a declared major in Career and Technical Education and shall be at least sophomore status. Recipient(s) shall be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.8. The selection of recipient(s) shall not be based on financial need, but in the case of two equally qualified candidates, the student who demonstrates the greatest financial need shall receive the scholarship. The award shall be announced in the spring and paid in the fall to Eastern Illinois University to be first applied against costs (tuition, fees, housing, etc.) associated with the recipient attending Eastern Illinois University.
