Daniel E. Marvin Jr. WEIU Scholarship

The Daniel E. Marvin Jr. WEIU Scholarship is awarded to full-time students at Eastern Illinois University majoring in Journalism or Communication Studies with a concentration in Broadcast News or Media Production. Recipients must have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours with at least a 3.0 GPA and have worked at least two semesters in the television and/or radio station. The scholarship requires two letters of recommendation from faculty members or professional staff at WEIU Radio-TV Center, and financial need is a consideration. Recipients may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again in subsequent years provided they continue to meet the stated criteria. Awards are announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester.
