About this opportunity
The Daniel Thomas Scholarship in Accounting and Finance is an annual entrance scholarship for undergraduate students beginning their studies in the Accounting and Financial Management program at the University of Waterloo's Faculty of Arts. One scholarship valued at $1,000 is awarded each year to a full-time student entering Year One. Selection is based on demonstrated academic excellence and participation in volunteer activities as assessed through the AFM Admissions Assessment (AFMAA). This scholarship was established by School of Accounting and Finance alumnus and friend, Benjie Thomas (PhD '98, Accounting), to support incoming students pursuing education in accounting and finance. No separate application is required, as candidates are automatically considered based on their admission application and AFMAA assessment.
