About This Opportunity

The Darcy and Heather Stevens Rural Bursary was established in 2005 by Darcy and Heather Stevens to assist students from rural areas who relocate to attend the University of the Sunshine Coast. The bursary provides financial support to first-year undergraduate students who have successfully completed their first semester of study at UniSC and graduated from high school in the previous 12 months. The award is based on demonstrated academic merit from first year, first semester results and active involvement in the community from which the student relocated, such as participation in sporting groups or volunteer work. Preference is given to students from outside the Sunshine Coast Regional Council area. This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor, and availability is subject to funding.
