Darcy & Sherry Grykuliak Bursary

The Darcy & Sherry Grykuliak Bursary was established by Darcy and Sherry Grykuliak, who both understand what it is like to live on limited means and want to provide students in similar circumstances an opportunity to further their education and have better futures. Darcy graduated from NAIT with a Civil Engineering Technology diploma and later earned his Civil Engineering degree. Sherry raised two boys as a single mother while working various jobs. Together, they hope that recipients of this bursary will pass this kindness on to future generations when they have the means to do so. This bursary is available to second year students in the Civil Engineering Technology program at NAIT. It is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic standing. Selected recipients will be asked to submit a short description on what receiving the funds would mean to them, and how they might pay-it-forward later in their lives. The award amount varies and students must complete the application to be considered.
