Dare to be Deadly Accommodation Scholarship

The Dare to be Deadly Accommodation Scholarship assists regional and remote Indigenous students from low income backgrounds with expenses associated with relocating for the purpose of undertaking internal studies at CQUniversity. Scholarships are available for students living at CQUniversity Student Residential Colleges in Mackay or Rockhampton or in private accommodation near any CQUniversity regional campus. The scholarship is specifically designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in Commonwealth supported courses ranging from STEPS programs to postgraduate courses in areas of National Priority. Four scholarships are offered each semester to help eligible students with accommodation costs while pursuing their studies. Preference is given to students from remote or regional areas who can demonstrate financial need.
