About This Opportunity

The Dare to be Deadly Scholarship assists Indigenous students from regional and remote locations with expenses associated with undergraduate study. The scholarship funds are intended to assist with living expenses and non-deferrable costs such as textbooks, uniforms, technology, internet, course specific equipment and/or travel costs associated with compulsory industry placement. This scholarship is specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled at Central Queensland University who can demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students from remote or regional areas. Recipients must be Commonwealth supported students who have satisfactorily completed at least 50% of units studied in the previous term. The scholarship provides approximately $2,000 per semester to support undergraduate students in any area of study.
