About This Opportunity
The Darryl Mayan Bursary honors Darryl Grant Mayan, who instructed at NAIT for nearly 35 years and touched countless students' lives with kindness and integrity. He challenged his students to stretch and grow and gave feedback with such care that students walked away smiling no matter what the outcome. This bursary is intended to provide a struggling student with opportunity to pursue their dreams. The award is available to students enrolled in the second year of the Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Heavy Equipment Technology, or Network Engineering Technology program at NAIT. It is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and a minimum academic achievement of 75% in year one of their program. Preference will be given to single parents.
