Darwin and Betty Park Sustainability Award

The Darwin and Betty Park Sustainability Award is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing in any year in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation who has demonstrated academic, volunteer and/or professional involvement in activities that support practices of environmental sustainability. The award recognizes students who have shown demonstrated commitment to, study of, and leadership in promoting and/or exploring the positive role that physical education and recreation can play in sustainable development of the environment. This endowed award was established by Darwin and Betty Park to support students pursuing the intersection of physical education, recreation, and environmental sustainability.
