Dave McDonald Memorial Scholarship

The Dave McDonald Memorial Scholarship supports students at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). First priority is given to children of EPCOR employees who are enrolled in any program. Second priority is given to students enrolled in the second year of either Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Power Engineering 4th class, or Power Engineering Technology program. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of satisfactory academic achievement and to students who are well-rounded individuals. This includes involvement in extracurricular activities such as sports or the arts, demonstrated leadership skills through community service or other volunteer activities, and personal qualities such as dedication and commitment. Applicants must submit a letter describing their involvement in extra-curricular activities, volunteer activities, and their reasons for involvement. The award amount varies and is available to eligible students meeting the criteria.
