About This Opportunity
The David and Dian Ross Undergraduate Scholarship was established in 2019 and is funded by David and Dian Ross, who are both alumni of the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support school-leavers enrolling in the first year of a Bachelor of Arts conjoint degree who have the potential and drive to follow their passion and achieve academically, but who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree. The scholarship provides financial assistance worth up to $10,000 per annum for up to five years to one New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident each year. This scholarship is offered on a one-off basis annually with applications opening in late August and closing in early October.
