David and Jeane Coburn Memorial Scholarship

This award is a renewable bursary given to a deserving student in veterinary medicine. In most cases, a student in the first year class is chosen who will receive the award in the fall of his or her second year. They would then usually receive the award in the fall of their third and fourth years, then another recipient is chosen. The David E. Coburn Memorial Scholarship has been established at the University of Prince Edward Island, to be awarded within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The primary goal of the establishment is to assist veterinary students in overcoming financial hardships which might otherwise jeopardize successful completion of studies.
