About this opportunity
The David and Rose Macy Scholarship Fund was established to support students in the College of Agriculture Sciences at Colorado State University. This renewable scholarship provides up to $5,000 annually for students majoring in Soil and Crop Science, Animal Science, or Agricultural and Resource Economics. The scholarship is designed to assist undergraduate students who are residents of Colorado or Wyoming, as well as post-secondary students from any location, with demonstrated financial need. Recipients must be U.S. citizens who have filed a FAFSA and provided their Student Aid Index, though students who are Pell Grant eligible are not eligible to apply. The scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at Colorado State University. Award amounts are split between semesters. The scholarship is renewable for up to two additional years (three years total) if the applicant continues to meet the renewal criteria. Between 1-2 winners are selected each year, making this a competitive opportunity for agriculture students seeking financial support for their education.
