About this opportunity
Opera lovers David and Winifred Bull have been generous supporters of young singers from the New Zealand School of Music—Te Kōkī (NZSM) over many years. This scholarship was created to recognize their nurturing of talented young singers, particularly following David's untimely death in 2017, and provides meaningful support through an annual scholarship for a voice student. The scholarship is designed for Classical Voice students enrolled at the New Zealand School of Music and is assessed based on outstanding vocal and academic ability. Recipients must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and are required to submit a plan for progressing their studies in vocal performance. The scholarship is generously supported by friends of David and Winifred in Martinborough.
