David C. Knapp Political Science Scholarship

The David C. Knapp Political Science Scholarship is established to fund scholarships for undergraduate Political Science students at the University of Massachusetts. This fund is shared by the Amherst and Boston campuses. The scholarship honors UMass President David Knapp, a political scientist who believed higher education had an obligation to improve the condition of society. Applicants must describe how their studies in the Political Science major have informed their work to create positive social change and how this interest informs their academic plans and/or professional objectives.
