David D. Mulroy Classics Scholarship

The David D. Mulroy Classics Scholarship supports students with academic merit who are taking or intend to take Greek language classes at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. When funds are available, the scholarship provides financial assistance to encourage the study of Ancient Greek language. Preference is given to Classics majors and minors, including Greek and Latin minors, though non-majors and non-minors are also eligible to apply. This scholarship honors the legacy of David D. Mulroy in supporting classical language education. Eligible students must be enrolled in a Greek language class at the time of disbursement and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers for students pursuing the study of ancient languages and classical civilizations.
