David Ensor Wardlaw Scholarships

University of St Andrews Original Source

About This Opportunity

The David Ensor Wardlaw Scholarships were established by a generous bequest from David Ensor 1965, in order to support students of Mathematics and Science from Scotland and the rest of the UK in their studies at St Andrews. The scholarship forms part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme, established in 2004 to provide financial assistance to academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews. The award provides £4,400 per year paid as maintenance but can be used towards University accommodation fees. Maintenance is paid in ten monthly instalments directly to the student's bank account from September to May, with a double payment in February. This award is paid annually for the duration of the student's undergraduate programme. Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria, and applications are made through the St Andrews Access Award application form.
