David Johnston International Student Scholarships

Several scholarships, valued at $5,000 each, are awarded annually to outstanding international students admitted to Year One of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Waterloo. Selection is based on academic achievement combined with any other faculty-specific scholarship criteria. These scholarships were established through the generous support of donors in honour of former Waterloo president David Johnston as a lasting tribute to his 11-year service to the University and in recognition of his passion for international opportunities for students. The scholarships are open to any program and do not require a separate application.
