About This Opportunity

The David Johnston Law Scholarship was established to reflect the Right Honourable David Johnston's long and distinguished academic career in the field of law. The scholarship recognizes and rewards academic achievement of an outstanding student taking a law degree at the University of Alberta or the University of Calgary. This scholarship has been funded through the Alberta Heritage Scholarship Fund. Two scholarships of $10,000 each are available annually. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic standing, LSAT score and demonstrated involvement in volunteer activity, with consideration also given to applicants enrolled in combined programs such as LLB/MBA.
