About this opportunity
The David K Robertson Award In Geophysics and Geology is a renewable award provided to students who are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or third year of a Bachelor of Science with an area of study in Geology or Geophysics. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership, participation in extracurricular activities, and academic standing. Preference is given to students who intend to live and work in Canada. This award is renewable for an additional year contingent upon satisfactory academic standing on 24 credits in the previous September to April. The award was established by David K Robertson, BSc 1964, MSc 1966, PhD (Oxford & Leeds 1969) and is administered through the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta.
