David Karpluk Memorial Scholarship in Geology

The David Karpluk Memorial Scholarship in Geology is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering any year of an Honors or Specialization in Geology. Selection is based on academic standing. Preference is given to a student with superior academic achievement in course(s) related to Petroleum Geology and demonstrated interest in Horizontal Drilling. Secondary preference is given to a student who has not received other University of Alberta award(s) in the same academic year. This scholarship is funded through endowed funds by family and friends of David Karpluk.
