About This Opportunity
The David Latten Social Impact Award was established in July 2023 by the Logitech Cares Fund, a fund of Tides Foundation, to celebrate the life of David Latten, who was Head of Global Indirect Procurement and Supplier Diversity at Logitech. David was known as someone who worked to make a difference every day and was a passionate champion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) in supply chain management and beyond. In line with David's work with the Coalition for Gender Fair Procurement and Diversity Equity and Inclusion, this award aims to champion equity in supply chain management. The award is offered annually as a one-off bursary of €1,500 aimed at women and students from less privileged, marginalised, or minority backgrounds who can demonstrate financial need to empower them to pursue careers in supply chain management. Applicants can apply from across University College Cork regardless of their study discipline if they can show relevance of their field towards advancing responsible supply chains, sourcing, and social impact. This bursary award can only be awarded once per individual and has an annual application deadline of October 2nd.
