David P. & Rose C. Hood Endowed Retention Scholarship

The David P. & Rose C. Hood Endowed Retention Scholarship is designed to support students at Clayton State University who are in good academic standing, demonstrate financial need, and have been identified as not being able to continue their education due to financial challenges. This scholarship specifically targets retention by helping students who face economic barriers to completing their education. The Financial Aid Office manages all scholarships, and students do not need to take any action to be considered. All accepted incoming freshmen, transfer students, and enrolled continuing students will be automatically considered for all eligible university-administered scholarships. The scholarship aims to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent qualified students from pursuing and completing their degree programs at Clayton State University.
