David W. Briggs Scholarship in Memory of Jean S. Briggs

The David W. Briggs Scholarship in Memory of Jean S. Briggs is established to support students with demonstrated financial need and a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.5 whose major is in Music. The scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated a continuous record of community service to their home community, Amherst and its environs, and/or to the University community. This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Jean S. Briggs by supporting academically excellent music students who are committed to serving their communities.
