About this opportunity
The District of Columbia Daughters of the American Revolution (D.C. DAR) endowment fund offers stackable tuition awards for graduate students at George Washington University. Awards are available up to $3,500 for part-time students and up to $7,000 for full-time students, with semester-only awards also considered. Applicants must be United States citizens and current graduate students or undergraduate students entering a graduate program at GW. The scholarship supports students enrolled for at least six credits per semester in specific fields including American Studies, History, Museum Studies, or Historic Preservation with a focus on the American colonial period. Recipients are invited to attend DC D.A.R. events. The scholarship has a minimum GPA requirement of 3.25 and preference is given to students focusing on historic preservation or the years 1607-1830.
