Deadly Accommodation Scholarship

The Deadly Relocation/Accommodation Costs Scholarship (ICACS) aims to improve higher education access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples', particularly those who need to relocated from regional and remote areas in order to access study. The scholarship provides financial support for accommodation and relocation costs for Indigenous students who must travel more than 90 minutes to attend Federation University. Recipients receive $3,500 per semester in their first year and $2,500 per semester in subsequent years. This scholarship is specifically designed to remove barriers to higher education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from regional and remote communities who need to relocate to pursue their studies at Federation University in Victoria.
